I rang the Chapel bell for 10 minutes at 1pm in Duluth (8pm in Rome).

He shows his grace, humble and holy self.
Such a poignant moment for all of us! He’s still alive, but he’s no longer Pope. But what a wonderful example of the call to and the need for prayer. He has made me look at my own prayer life, and made me ask myself whether I respond to God’s call to prayer as well as Pope Benedict did. I watched the replay of his departure from the Vatican. The sound of all those bells, especially the deep St. Andrew, gave me chills.
