Angels lecture Friday May 6

Here’s news of an event of possible interest to Oblates, coming up too soon for the next newsletter.

Kevin Vaughan, director of the Catholic Studies program at our college, is giving a lecture this Friday at 3:40pm in Room 4119 of Tower Hall.

While “angels” are the topic, forget the somewhat saccharine faces or chubby bodies of gift store angels. Kevin focuses on the theology of Noel Dermot O’Donoghue and the contrast of worldviews he experienced. Kevin gave an earlier version of this talk to the Sisters – it leaves you with quite a bit to think about.

The talk is free, and refreshments are served. These Colloquia usually end just in time for evening prayer. An opportunity to feed mind and spirit in the same afternoon.
